About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide strategic leadership and direction to engineering teams in North America
Drive the development and implementation of engineering strategies, standards, and best practices
Harmonize regional investment strategies and technical platforms
Lead and mentor a diverse team of engineering professionals across US, Canada & Mexico
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation and optimize processes
Ensure capital requests comply with relevant policy and guidelines
Drive implementation of Lean and TPM methodologies
Partner with senior leadership to define and prioritize engineering projects
Act as a champion of a culture of safety, quality, and compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably chemical, mechanical or electrical engineering
10 years of progressive leadership experience in engineering roles
At least 5 years in engineering team / people leadership experience
A background in Lean Manufacturing and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) methodologies
Previous experience in food/CPG or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% regionally (US, CAN, MX)
Willingness to work onsite in Alsip, IL up to 3 days per week, when not traveling
Candidates must currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
