💰 $170,000 - $200,000 per year
About the role
- Manage all activities for continuous improvement and performance enhancement globally
- Employ Lean methodologies and tools to continue the Lean Transformation across 26 plants worldwide
- Drive and lead performance improvements throughout the organization
- Train and coach on Lean methodologies to eliminate waste and drive performance
- Provide tools and direction, assess current state, and identify focus of improvements
- Lead 2 direct reports and 6 indirect reports (regional CI leads) to meet project/department milestones and budgets
- Support harmonization of standards across global plants
- Travel globally (~40%) and work hybrid from Alsip, IL (1-2 days/week)
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related field
- At least 10 years’ experience in the Continuous Improvement (lean manufacturing) function
- At least 7 years of project management experience
- Background in manufacturing and/or engineering environments
- At least 7 years people management
- Ability and willingness to travel globally 40%
- Willingness to work onsite in Alsip 1-2 days per week when not traveling
- Proven leadership: set a vision, manage change, develop personnel, strategic CI planning
- Effective communicator and influencer across organizational levels
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Financial and business acumen
- Interest in learning various cultures and harmonizing global standards
- TPM/Kaizen Instructor certification or Black Belt certification a plus
- Master Black Belt in Six Sigma or equivalent qualification a plus
- Qualified Trainer advantageous
- Food manufacturing CI experience is a plus
- Experience with GMPs, HACCP, BRC and SQF
- Proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Power BI
