About the role

Manage all activities for continuous improvement and performance enhancement globally
Employ Lean methodologies and tools to continue the Lean Transformation across 26 plants worldwide
Drive and lead performance improvements throughout the organization
Train and coach on Lean methodologies to eliminate waste and drive performance
Provide tools and direction, assess current state, and identify focus of improvements
Lead 2 direct reports and 6 indirect reports (regional CI leads) to meet project/department milestones and budgets
Support harmonization of standards across global plants
Travel globally (~40%) and work hybrid from Alsip, IL (1-2 days/week)

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related field
At least 10 years’ experience in the Continuous Improvement (lean manufacturing) function
At least 7 years of project management experience
Background in manufacturing and/or engineering environments
At least 7 years people management
Ability and willingness to travel globally 40%
Willingness to work onsite in Alsip 1-2 days per week when not traveling
Proven leadership: set a vision, manage change, develop personnel, strategic CI planning
Effective communicator and influencer across organizational levels
Excellent interpersonal skills
Financial and business acumen
Interest in learning various cultures and harmonizing global standards
TPM/Kaizen Instructor certification or Black Belt certification a plus
Master Black Belt in Six Sigma or equivalent qualification a plus
Qualified Trainer advantageous
Food manufacturing CI experience is a plus
Experience with GMPs, HACCP, BRC and SQF
Proficient with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Power BI
