About the role

  • Develop and maintain our Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
  • Drive the ongoing development of our Kubernetes stack and implement GitOps workflows (e.g., with FluxCD).
  • Develop and operate observability solutions (monitoring, logging, tracing) and act as a point of contact and mentor for other teams.
  • Actively participate in system analysis and derive improvements, even when original requirements are unclear.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • We value your professional experience more than formal education.
  • You have several years of experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or SRE.
  • Your technical skills: experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform), GitOps (FluxCD), Kubernetes, OpenStack, and monitoring, logging, and tracing tools (e.g., Mimir, Loki, Grafana, Tempo).
  • Experience in security-critical environments and an understanding of the associated requirements.
  • You are comfortable working in a structured corporate environment (not a startup).
  • You can quickly get up to speed with new systems and independently develop solutions.
  • You have strong communication skills and enjoy sharing your knowledge.
  • You speak fluent English; German is not required.
