Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct comprehensive analyses of electricity, renewable energy, and ancillary-services markets
  • Monitor and evaluate market trends and regulatory developments affecting energy transition, battery storage, and distributed generation
  • Develop and manage the company’s multi-year strategy for Capacity Markets and future markets
  • Coordinate registration and entry of new assets into Capacity and Ancillary Services
  • Analyze the growth and impact of distributed energy resources on local and regional energy markets
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to assess integration of solar, wind, and combined heat and power systems, supporting customer market entry
  • Engage policymakers, industry stakeholders, and clients on market insights and energy-strategy implications
  • Lead company interactions in relevant industry associations
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and workshops
  • Track research, trends, and technologies related to energy transition and storage solutions
  • Contribute to innovative strategies addressing emerging energy challenges
  • Contribute to the company’s ESG deliverables and annual targets

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, Energy Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in energy market analysis, renewable energy, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of energy markets, regulatory frameworks, battery storage, and distributed generation
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software such as Excel, Python, R, or similar
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
