About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Efficiently review all clients' tax returns and communicate with clients
Perform technical tax review and approval of business and individual tax returns
Manage and delegate tax research projects
Lead client relationships and participate in client meetings
Act as a resource for tax staff on training and development
Delegate and manage governmental tax examinations
Maintain familiarity with qualifications of tax staff members
Develop staff by assisting in recruiting and training

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in accounting required
Master's degree in taxation preferred
6-12 years experience in public accounting
A current certified public accountant's license required
Proficiency in computer tax preparation, tax research, and tax planning software programs
Minimum of 40 hours of continuing education each year to maintain technical and business skills
