About the role
- Perform regular site audits to identify crawl issues, indexation gaps, and Core Web Vitals problems
- Partner with developers to resolve performance bottlenecks, fix render-blocking scripts, and improve LCP and CLS scores
- Implement schema markup, canonical tags, and structured data to enhance search visibility
- Maintain and update sitemaps, robots.txt, and hreflang tags for multilingual targeting
- Ensure fast, mobile-first page performance across all markets
- Lead keyword research and clustering for high-intent and long-tail opportunities across markets
- Support the build-out of programmatic pages (currency converters, exchange rates, guides) with optimized templates and metadata
- Collaborate with content and design teams to integrate SEO best practices into landing pages and editorial content
- Identify content gaps and propose new opportunities to increase organic sessions and signups
- Conduct on-page optimizations, interlinking, and title/meta refinements to improve CTR
- Manage SEO localization for MENA, SEA, and LATAM, ensuring keywords, metadata, and copy reflect local search intent
- Work with translators and local partners to validate keyword relevance and translation quality
- Implement and maintain hreflang configurations for language and region-specific pages
- Analyze SERPs in target regions to adjust strategies for competitive advantage
- Support link-building initiatives, outreach campaigns, and digital PR efforts
- Monitor backlink profiles and disavow toxic links when necessary
- Identify opportunities for unlinked brand mentions and referral backlinks
- Contribute to partnerships that improve domain authority and trust signals
- Track SEO KPIs such as organic sessions, rankings, CTR, and conversion rate
- Maintain dashboards integrating Google Search Console, GA4, and Ahrefs data
- Deliver weekly and monthly reports with insights, trends, and next-step recommendations
- Perform competitor benchmarking to identify gaps and opportunities
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design teams on technical SEO implementation
- Work with the Growth and Paid Media teams to align organic and paid search strategies
- Partner with Content Marketing for topic ideation, briefs, and optimization
- Contribute SEO insights to product launches, campaigns, and landing page development
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of proven SEO experience with measurable success in organic growth, ideally in fintech, tech, or multi-market companies
- Deep understanding of technical SEO, site architecture, crawling, and Core Web Vitals
- Hands-on experience improving rankings and driving conversions in multiple regions
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and GA4
- Experience managing multi-language or multi-country SEO (including hreflang and localization)
- Strong data interpretation and reporting skills
- Solid understanding of keyword intent, topic clustering, and programmatic SEO
- Comfortable collaborating across remote teams in different time zones
- Excellent communication and project management skills
