About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Consult with managerial personnel to develop recruitment strategy based on broad knowledge of hiring authorities
  • Conduct job analysis and develop specialized experience statements and assessment tools
  • Recruitment from the general public (Delegated Examining)
  • Use model assessment tools when appropriate
  • Post vacancy announcements
  • Review candidates for eligibility, qualifications, and veteran preference
  • Issue certificate of eligibles to management officials
  • Conduct quality review of staffing case files
  • Prepare notices of results to candidates
  • Draft or assist in developing standard job aids in support of staffing and recruitment services

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • experience posting vacancy announcements utilizing USA Staffing
  • familiar with USA Hire and other second-hurdle assessment options
  • currently Delegated Examining (DE) certified
  • minimum of five (5) years of Federal Government staffing experience
  • able to obtain and maintain a Tier-4 Public Trust background investigation for the duration of the contract
  • operate a PC and phone in an office environment
  • work in a primarily sedentary position
  • perform some bending, light lifting, and carrying of equipment as required
