About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- receive and review information provided by management to prepare position descriptions based on available information sources
- evaluate existing position descriptions using OPM position classification standards, principles, and methodology to determine appropriate titles, series, grades
- refer all GS-13 and above position descriptions to EOUSA for review before beginning any staffing and recruitment work
- provide technical classification assistance to supervisors and managers on position management and job content options
Requirements
What you’ll need- minimum of five (5) years of Federal Government experience writing position descriptions and providing position management advisory services
- required to be able to obtain and maintain a Tier-4 Public Trust background investigation for the duration of the contract
