Key responsibilities & impact

Consult with managerial personnel to develop recruitment strategy
Conduct job analysis and develop specialized experience statements and assessment tools
Recruitment from the general public (Delegated Examining)
Use model assessment tools when appropriate
Post vacancy announcements
Review candidates for eligibility, qualifications, and veteran preference
Issue certificate of eligibles to management officials
Conduct quality review of staffing case files
Verify candidate eligibility and qualifications prior to appointment
Perform general, specialized or targeted outreach recruitment efforts
Develop vacancy announcements using USA Staffing automated staffing tool
Respond to inquiries from supervisors and candidates
Screen applications to determine basic eligibility and qualifications
Coordinate rating panels and issue certificates to candidates

Requirements

What you’ll need

experience posting vacancy announcements utilizing USA Staffing
familiar with USA Hire and other second-hurdle assessment options
currently Delegated Examining (DE) certified
minimum of three (3) years of Federal Government staffing experience
required to be able to obtain and maintain a Tier-4 Public Trust background investigation
