About the role

  • Ensure the integrity and availability of data by organizing and controlling the information used by systems and business areas.
  • Administer SQL Server databases, including installation, configuration and maintenance of environments.
  • Create and maintain data structures such as views and queries used in reports, dashboards and systems.
  • Support users and internal teams in identifying data-related issues, such as crashes, inconsistencies and performance problems.
  • Perform analysis and tuning to improve the performance of queries and database processes.
  • Maintain the databases used by the area's applications, such as Clube Melissa and SisFranquias.
  • Create and manage jobs, users, permissions and access, ensuring the security and organization of environments.
  • Document database structures and related processes to facilitate understanding and continuity of work.
  • Support data integration and automation initiatives, participating in the development of routines and pipelines with the technical team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in areas such as Information Technology, Systems, Business Administration or similar.
  • Experience with relational databases, especially SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of creating queries, views and structuring data.
  • Understanding of database performance and the ability to identify issues.
  • Basic knowledge of Python or interest in automating data processes.
  • Experience with code versioning, such as Git, will be considered a plus.
  • Differentials
  • Experience with data tools such as BigQuery.
  • Experience with relational databases, especially Postgres and SQL Server.
  • Exposure to ETL processes or data orchestration tools such as Airflow.
  • Experience with development or integration of systems.
  • Knowledge of cloud environments.
  • Previous experience in retail or with commercial systems.
