About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for providing high quality massage treatments to guests as laid out in the treatment protocols
Maintain essential hospitality standards such as eye contact, smile, engage in polite conversation
Attend meetings and training sessions
Ensure a clean, safe, and well-organized spa facility
Set up spa and work stations, ensuring cleanliness throughout the shift
Assist with keeping linens clean and tidy, and replace them between sessions
Accompany guests to and from treatment rooms
Consult with clients to identify appropriate massage services
Provide massage services listed in the brochure
Maintain records and filing documentation
Comply with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations.
Provide a high level of customer service
Maintain a current therapist license.

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School diploma /Secondary qualification or equivalent
Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt processes and standards
Be an enthusiastic, helpful and positive member of the team
Be professional, responsible and mature in conduct and behavior
Be understanding of, encouraging to and friendly with all co-workers
Be self-motivated and use time wisely
Maintain open line of communications with each department
Communicate pertinent information
Respond positively to new ideas
Openly accept critical/developmental feedback
Be available to help other departments in emergency situations
Perform other assignments as directed by supervisor.
Adhere to all work rules, procedures and policies established by the company including those contained in the associate handbook.
