About the role
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies that align with the company’s business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve and surpass revenue targets.
- Identify and cultivate key business partnerships, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, and event planners.
- Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring effective prospecting, lead generation, and conversion strategies.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing, revenue management, and operations teams to optimize pricing, promotions, and customer engagement.
- Develop and oversee sales budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows.
- Foster a high-performance sales culture through continuous training, development, and motivation of sales personnel.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and industry regulations.
- Drive revenue growth across group, corporate, SMERF, transient, and special segments.
- Assist with establishing sales KPIs, monitor performance, and implement corrective action plans as needed.
- Oversee sales processes, CRM utilization, reporting, and sales technology adoption.
- Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and data-driven decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in hospitality sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role leading multiple hotels, brand and service levels.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Expertise in sales analytics, revenue management, and performance metrics.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, sales software, and data analysis tools.
- Ability to travel as required and reside near a major airport.
