About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate day-to-day operations of the Lifelong Skills and Opportunity Center in collaboration with the Older Adult Transition Specialist and Administrative Assistant.
- Support implementation of program goals, strategic priorities, and work plans established by the Director of Community Services.
- Ensure program activities comply with organizational policies, grant requirements, and service standards.
- Collaborate with OAN Directors to coordinate educational classes, workshops, and participant-centered programming.
- Develop and maintain program calendars, schedules, and workshop logistics.
- Maintain ongoing communication with community partners and coordinate their participation in program activities.
- Support outreach efforts designed to increase participant enrollment, engagement, and retention.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Adult Education, Gerontology, Public Administration, Program Management, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in program coordination, adult education, workforce development, aging services, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating workshops, educational programming, events, or community-based initiatives.
- Experience supervising staff and/or volunteers preferred.
- Experience developing community partnerships and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of issues affecting older adults, including retirement transitions, workforce participation, financial stability, and benefits access.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, virtual meeting platforms, database systems, and digital communication tools.
