About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support established procedures and internal controls for recording asset and lease transactions, including acquisitions, modifications, disposals and remeasurements
- Assist Business Units with information related to new lease agreements, contract modifications, early terminations and reassessment events
- Support preparation and analysis of accounts during month-end and year-end close processes
- Provide documentation and information to internal stakeholders and auditors regarding asset and lease accounting matters
- Maintain accurate asset and lease accounting records
- Support process improvements and data quality initiatives with Finance and IT teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar
- 1–3 years of professional experience in accounting, audit or finance-related roles
- Experience with asset or lease accounting is a plus
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Knowledge of IFRS is valued
- Experience with accounting systems and reporting tools
- SAP and Excel knowledge is an advantage
- English and Portuguese language skills in speaking and writing
- Additional languages are a plus
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and sense of responsibility
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- Analytical mindset, willingness to learn and proactive approach to problem-solving
- Ability to manage priorities and adapt to a dynamic international environment
