About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

- Responsible for heating plant monitoring and ensuring that the system is operating optimally.
- Perform varying corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance for heating systems.
- Utilises mechanical/plumbing knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Interact with customers on a professional level as part of a multi-tasking team.
- Perform onsite installations, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Check and provide complete documentation to clients.
- Carry out site root cause analysis.
- Apply root cause analysis techniques on all major and recurring faults.
- Investigate technical failures and prepare formal technical reports.
- Record keeping and management of spare part movements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

- 2+ years of facility maintenance experience.
- Demonstrated experience in the maintenance of boiler and heat pumps is an advantage.
- Able to read and interpret single line diagrams and schematics
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 35 kgs
- Willing to travel regularly
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Good IT skills.
- Must be eligible to work full time in Ireland.
- Must have a valid permit to drive in Ireland independently.
- Knowledge of how to use hand tools
- Able to read and interpret single line diagrams and schematics
- Demonstrated experience in the maintenance of boiler and heat pumps is an advantage
- Evidence of continued professional development to degree level or equivalent level of knowledge and experience
- Ability to drive in Ireland independently.
- Min. 2 Years experience using hand tools.
- Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Willing to learn and be good team player
- Experience of biomass boiler installations or maintenance experience
- Demonstrate exceptional skills in maintenance management software and applications.
