About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Supporting renewable energy projects in Portugal and other jurisdictions;
  • Interacting with various regulatory entities, particularly in licensing procedures for photovoltaic solar and wind projects, biomass plants, energy communities, ACC, and ACI;
  • Analyzing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of contracts;
  • Preparing legal opinions on topics related to different areas of law;
  • Monitoring judicial and administrative proceedings;
  • Prepare, review, and implement internal procedures and guidelines to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and company standards;
  • Assisting with financing processes and guarantees matters, including reviewing and negotiating related documentation with financial institutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Law degree from a reputable university;
  • Admission to the Portuguese Bar Association;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in these areas (relevant experience in Corporate, Energy, and/or Finance will be valued);
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus);
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and planning skills;
  • Solid legal knowledge across multiple areas of law, particularly commercial and corporate law, civil law, and energy law;
  • Teamwork skills, resilience, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
