About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage payroll processing for a portfolio of non-union and some union entertainment clients
  • Work directly with clients to deliver a high level of service while ensuring accuracy and compliance with Federal, State, and Union regulations
  • Support Paymasters with data entry, timecard review, payroll releases, and reporting
  • Review and calculate client timecards, ensuring all federal, state, and union laws and regulations are adhered to
  • Follow up with clients to advise on discrepancies when necessary
  • Compile and review payroll reports and invoices for the client’s review and approval
  • Manage and assist with payroll releases, including check printing distribution, accounting import verification and releases

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2-3 years of experience in payroll or production accounting
  • Knowledgeable in entertainment union contracts, a plus
  • Experience in the Film/TV industry is a plus
  • Ability to deal with high-volume work with competing priorities under pressure
  • Highly organized, accurate, with acute attention to detail
  • Problem-solving orientation, looking for solutions, not just focused on accomplishing tasks
  • Client-focused with the ability to be assertive
  • Craves a fast-paced, exciting, and creative environment
  • Driven, friendly, approachable
