About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Surveys on ships/mobile offshore units,
Surveys for Certification of materials and components
Project management of ships or MOU newbuildings
Ensure that the work or duties performed are in accordance with the rules, regulations, instructions, guidelines and quality requirements of DNV
Maintain the confidentiality of clients' business, processes, designs, developments and documentation
Communicate to line management at the earliest appropriate opportunity if in receipt of information that is important to the reputation and integrity of DNV

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree (BSc or higher) on Naval Architecture and/or Marine Engineering
- Professionals with 3 to 10 years of experience in the maritime industry, preferably in classification, shipyard, or technical superintendent. Young professionals with less working experience will be also considered
- Team player but able to work independently on surveys
- Physical abilities necessary to perform regular functions of the job, e.g. Climbing ship side pilot ladders & in/out of tanks and confined spaces
- Good communication skills and fluent in English (speaking and writing)
