About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Surveys on ships/mobile offshore units,
  • Surveys for Certification of materials and components
  • Project management of ships or MOU newbuildings
  • Ensure that the work or duties performed are in accordance with the rules, regulations, instructions, guidelines and quality requirements of DNV
  • Maintain the confidentiality of clients' business, processes, designs, developments and documentation
  • Communicate to line management at the earliest appropriate opportunity if in receipt of information that is important to the reputation and integrity of DNV

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree (BSc or higher) on Naval Architecture and/or Marine Engineering
  • - Professionals with 3 to 10 years of experience in the maritime industry, preferably in classification, shipyard, or technical superintendent. Young professionals with less working experience will be also considered
  • - Team player but able to work independently on surveys
  • - Physical abilities necessary to perform regular functions of the job, e.g. Climbing ship side pilot ladders & in/out of tanks and confined spaces
  • - Good communication skills and fluent in English (speaking and writing)
