Sales Manager – Digital System Operations

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and realise our growth ambition in the German-speaking market of Power Grids
- Collaborate closely with other Sales Managers and Key Account Management teams
- Monitor and anticipate market developments, enabling a coordinated market approach
- Generate leads and act as the opportunity owner for medium to large opportunities
- Support operational delivery teams with setting priorities during resource scarcity
- Deliver keynote speeches at conferences and be highly visible on social media
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong skills in business strategy, sales pipeline management, and market analysis, with a focus on advisory services
- Experience in identifying opportunities, managing bids, and increasing market presence
- Demonstrated ability to seize and close commercial opportunities and impact business growth and profitability
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in networking and customer engagement, with a focus on building long-term relationships
- Fluent in German and English
- Proven ability to develop strategic roadmaps and advisory services in a fast-paced, changing, complex, and ambiguous environment
- Strong analytical skills to quickly understand and analyse complex issues and problems, and to understand market trends and make sound judgments
- Ability to define market share within own area and set ambitious, realistic targets for growth
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Proven ability to coach/mentor and develop professionals
- Commitment to diversity and inclusivity to define the best project teams
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders and promote an inclusive culture within the organization
- Strong problem-solving skills to handle complex issues and manage conflicting priorities
- Innovative mindset to generate fresh ideas and solutions, promoting change and novelty
- In-depth knowledge of the Electricity Transmission and Distribution sector in German-speaking markets
- Good understanding of the Transmission and Distribution market, in particular related to Grid Utilization, transformation and congestion management, its players, and dynamics
