About the role
- Conduct on-site audits/training for AS9100 (JIS Q 9100) and ISO9001 in line with DNV philosophy for clients in Japan
- Perform AS9110 and AS9120 audits where applicable
- Work directly with all levels of management to produce timely, complete and accurate reports on clients' compliance and management system implementation
- Document and report audit activities and results, resolve Technical Review issues and submit reports promptly
- Review clients' corrective actions and close nonconformities
- Maintain and pursue relevant audit qualifications
- Generate leads and opportunities across services and support the sales team
- Act as project leader on assigned projects and build trusting client relationships
- Resolve customer complaints and deliver outstanding service
Requirements
- Currently qualified as an AS9100/JIS Q 9100 Lead Auditor (Industry Experience Auditor)
- Experience working in the aerospace and defense sector
- Relevant qualifications in AS9110, AS9120 preferred
- General standards ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 preferred
- Knowledge of legal requirements related to the AS9100/JISQ9100 sector
- Extensive industry work experience in the quality and aerospace sectors and willingness to provide training in these areas
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proven track record as a project leader and team leader
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to write reports in English
- Willingness to travel to various regions of Japan and work locally
