About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You will work directly with the CEO on GreenPocket's strategic direction.
  • With your broad interests, you will identify market-relevant key elements over several months for acquiring new direct customers from a specific segment (e.g., retail, municipalities, and housing associations).
  • You will derive concrete to-dos from your insights and actively engage in initial conversations with potential customers.
  • You will regularly take on the welcomed challenge of reviewing new or amended legal requirements (e.g., energy-efficiency regulations) and assessing their impact on the company.
  • Additionally: you will identify and qualify new market segments and customer groups, create Ideal Customer Profiles, initiate first customer contacts and later conduct qualification calls and webinars.
  • You will build and maintain a structured sales pipeline.
  • You will actively engage with technology to automate our sales processes and drive its implementation forward.
  • You will build and optimize lead-generation processes.
  • You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Controlling, and discuss your results directly with the CEO.
  • You will support the planning of inbound (e.g., content, SEO, lead funnels) and outbound (e.g., LinkedIn, mailings, cold calls) marketing measures.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • You have successfully completed a degree in business administration, economics, or another degree with a management focus — or possess another comparable qualification that convinces us.
  • You are a sharp thinker, can quickly grasp interrelations and analyse them.
  • Ideally, you have already gained initial experience in sales and/or business development at a software company, preferably in a startup or consulting environment.
  • It is desirable that you are interested in energy efficiency and AI topics or already have experience in this area.
  • With your excellent PowerPoint skills you deliver compelling presentations, and you are very confident using Excel.
  • With your very good German and English skills, you are comfortable speaking with potential customers.
