About the role
- Together with the development team, Product Owners and UX/UI designers, you drive the ongoing development of our SaaS solutions (in particular microservices)
- You design, test, maintain and continuously improve the software both independently and within your team
- You advise product management on technical questions and coordinate with them and the business units on functional and technical requirements and their implementation
- In the DevOps area you will take on increasing responsibility for architecture, programming and testing
- Through pair programming, code reviews and prototyping you will continuously develop not only our products but also your own skills
- You regularly exchange ideas with our agile, cross-functional teams as part of “DevComs” or our Architecture Board
- You look beyond your own area, implement your ideas during monthly GreenDays and have the opportunity to feed these ideas into product development
Requirements
- You have successfully completed a degree in an IT-related field or have comparable professional training that convinces us
- In addition, you already bring initial experience as a software developer, ideally in a SaaS environment
- You have practical experience with microservices and cloud infrastructures
- You have strong Java or Kotlin knowledge, ideally within the Spring ecosystem. Alternatively, you shine with excellent JavaScript/TypeScript skills and have experience with common frameworks
- You are familiar with and use standard tools, especially in agile environments, such as JIRA and Confluence, for development management and documentation
- As a creative, analytical thinker you enjoy new technologies and bring a strong quality awareness
- You live the startup mindset, are motivated and like to get things done directly
- You have good German and very good English skills
Benefits
- Intensive coaching and training opportunities, plus participation in DevCom and the Architecture Board
- A permanent employment contract with the opportunity to help shape the green startup scene
- Startup atmosphere with lots of freedom to shape things, flat hierarchies and short decision paths
- Flexible working hours and, of course, the option to work from home
- Take your GreenDay! Leave the daily routine behind and dedicate one day a month entirely to your own ideas
- Regular team events (bouldering, board and online game nights, etc.) and daily foosball tournaments with ambitious colleagues aka foosball pros
- An office full of sprint memes and day-specific songs (e.g., Fridays always end with the “Good Vibes” playlist)
- Unlimited coffee and water supplies and regularly fresh fruit
- Conveniently located with excellent cultural, sporting and transport connections
