About the role

  • Manage existing debt investor relationships and support in identifying new funding opportunities.
  • Liaise with senior management of potential debt investors for fundraising initiatives.
  • Participate in debt terms negotiations, documentation, and compliance monitoring.
  • Lead due diligence processes for fundraising activities.
  • Handle post-drawdown reporting and covenant management.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze financial and valuation models.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on financial performance, investment opportunities, and risk.
  • Support corporate finance strategy including securitization and debt structuring.
  • Prepare financial documents, reports, investor presentations, and proposals using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Compile and maintain electronic data rooms for fundraising projects.
  • Deliver periodic reports on financial covenants and fundraising progress.
  • Monitor forex exposures and implement risk mitigation through hedging strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with financial covenants and reporting requirements.
  • Support grant management and related reporting.
  • Provide ad hoc support on M&A deals, corporate restructuring, and potential IPO initiatives.
  • Partner with internal teams to align on financial strategies and fundraising objectives.
  • Assist the Senior Manager, Investor Relations in all strategic investor-facing activities.

Requirements

  • Have Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Professional qualification ICAN required; ACCA/CFA is a strong advantage).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate finance, impact funding, financial services or investment banking.
  • Proven skills in financial modelling, debt financing, and investor relations.
  • Solid knowledge of profit & loss reporting, fundraising, and securitization.
  • Good writing and presentation skills with full proficiency in Microsoft Office and analytics tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI).
  • Experience with financial reporting, covenant management, and due diligence processes.
  • Highly analytical with good level of attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
  • Excellent people, listening, and negotiation skills.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced, multicultural work environment.
  • Willingness to travel frequently.
