About the role

  • Work remotely as part of Sun King’s technology team to support the EasyBuy business unit
  • Design and develop applications/systems based on wireframes and product requirements documents
  • Design and develop logical and physical data models to meet application requirements
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs based on operational requirements
  • Perform unit tests on code to ensure robustness, including edge cases and usability
  • Write reusable and maintainable code following DRY principles
  • Integrate existing tools and business systems (in-house and external services)
  • Collaborate with team members and product managers to understand project requirements and contribute to system design

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of backend development experience
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, proficiency in data structures and algorithms
  • Profound grasp of object-oriented programming (OOPS) standards and expertise in Core Java
  • Knowledge of SQL, MySQL, or similar database management
  • Experience integrating web services (SOAP, REST) and data formats (JSON, XML)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs for linking Android applications to backend services
  • Preferred experience with version control systems like Git (not mandatory)
  • Additional knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks like Spring or Hibernate advantageous
