About the role
- Job location: Lilongwe, Malawi\n
- About the role: We’re looking for a passionate and field-oriented Trade Marketing Associate to support the implementation of trade marketing initiatives across Sun King Malawi’s sales network.\n
- Reporting to the Senior Associate - Brand Activation\n
- This role will focus on executing visibility and activation activities, strengthening sales agent engagement, and enhancing our brand presence at retail level.\n
- You’ll work closely with Field Sales Executives, shop teams, and agents to deliver localized, high-impact campaigns and support sales momentum on the ground.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.\n
- 1–2 years’ experience in trade marketing, field marketing, or retail activations; preferably in FMCG, Telecom, or Solar/Renewable Energy sectors.\n
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with field teams and sales agents.\n
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines.\n
- Data-driven with strong skills in analysis, reporting, and use of tools like Google Sheets, and project management tools.\n
- Fluent in English and Chichewa with excellent verbal and written communication.\n
- Willingness to travel frequently across Malawi (up to 60% of the time).\n
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven mindset.
