Assist the Operations Team performing imports, procurement, inbound/outbound logistics, inventory management and warehouse operations; involved in initial operations department setup in Madagascar.
Operations Management: handle large data evaluation using VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, and advanced Excel formulas; inventory reporting, planning and forecasting; design sustainable operational processes; undertake ERP & CRM transactions.
Warehouse and Inventory Management: set up a warehouse; oversee warehouse and retail points; ensure stocks are managed through inventory management best practices; monitor inventory needs and coordinate with sales.
Procurement: perform ERP system transactions; maintain an up-to-date approved vendors database; establish and manage supplier relationships; handle end-to-end procurement processes; cash flow forecasting.
Inbound & Outbound Logistics: onboard 3PLs, clearing agents, security firms and transportation companies; oversee importation and exportation of products into Madagascar; manage 3PL relationships; perform system transactions for all logistics.
Any other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Requirements
Hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Procurement & Logistics, or related field, with 4+ years’ relevant experience.
Possess strong knowledge of supply chain operations, including import/export, transport routes, warehousing, inventory, retail, and last-mile distribution.
Value-motivated, passionate about serving rural off-grid consumers, and able to work alone with minimal supervision.
Proven experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
Familiarity with regional legislation and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication skills in English, with strong people relations and teamwork abilities.
Skilled in business planning, procurement, and problem-solving, with the ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities.
