Assist the Operations Team to perform processes ensuring consistent service delivery per assigned KPIs, including imports, procurement, inbound/outbound logistics, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
Support initial operations department setup in Madagascar.
Handle large-scale data evaluation using VLOOKUP, pivot tables, advanced Excel formulas, and reporting.
Perform inventory reporting, planning, and forecasting.
Design and improve operational processes and sustainable solutions.
Undertake ERP and CRM system transactions for all operations activities.
Set up a warehouse and oversee management of warehouse and retail points to ensure stock control via inventory management best practices.
Monitor inventory needs, coordinate with sales, and escalate to relevant teams to meet business timelines.
Manage inbound and outbound logistics: onboard 3PLs, clearing agents, security firms, and transport companies; oversee import/export in liaison with clearing agents; manage 3PL relationships; perform logistics system transactions.
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
Hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Procurement & Logistics, or related field, with 4+ years’ relevant experience.
Possess strong knowledge of supply chain operations, including import/export, transport routes, warehousing, inventory, retail, and last-mile distribution.
Are value-motivated, passionate about serving rural off-grid consumers, and able to work alone with minimal supervision.
Have proven experience with ERP systems and proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
Are familiar with regional legislation and compliance requirements.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills in English, with strong people relations and teamwork abilities.
Are skilled in business planning, procurement, and problem-solving, with the ability to multitask and manage conflicting priorities.
