Event Project Lead – Contract

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and maintain the overall DevDay project plan
- Drive the operating cadence for the program
- Partner with the Senior Producer and Global Head of Events
- Track and manage the event budget
- Coordinate closely across multiple functions and stakeholders
- Maintain the central source of truth for the project
- Anticipate blockers and help teams navigate complexity
- Support onsite execution during event days
- Partner on post-event reporting and documentation
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of experience project managing large-scale event productions
- Strong budget-management experience
- Excellent executive presence and judgment
- Strong understanding of live event production
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with project management and event operations tools
- Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
- A passion for OpenAI's mission
