About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, build, and extend product features for Greenhouse’s internal web app using Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase, and Vercel
- Build, test, and maintain production-grade data pipelines and automated integrations between Salesforce, Gong, and other revenue systems
- Partner with SDR, AE, AM, and CSM stakeholders to translate business pain points into an engineering roadmap
- Evaluate, refine, and operationalize LLM prompts, open-source AI frameworks, and third-party tools
- Document technical architecture decisions and write operational playbooks
- Coordinate with data engineering, security, and Enterprise Apps teams to integrate tooling with global corporate infrastructure
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years building and shipping production software on a modern stack such as Python, Node.js, TypeScript, React/Next.js, or similar
- Experience integrating with a CRM system of record; Salesforce strongly preferred
- Knowledge of safe write patterns, idempotent synchronization design, and working around platform API limits
- Ownership of a production data pipeline end to end, including monitoring, alerting, and failure recovery
- Practical application architecture experience with lean BaaS and modern hosting platforms such as Supabase, Firebase, Vercel, Railway, or Render; direct Supabase experience strongly preferred
- Fluency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and ChatGPT
- Ability to turn ambiguous business requests into technical scope and present solutions to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to sequence or push back on competing requests
- Comfort working as the sole engineer on a system and owning prioritization, quality, and production issues
- Experience building or extending internal tooling for revenue, sales operations, or customer success teams is a plus
- Prior experience in a fast-scaling B2B SaaS business is a plus
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
