About the role
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team; create an environment of ownership, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
- Own delivery pipelines across engineering streams; track progress, identify risks, and keep projects moving toward milestones.
- Provide architectural and technical guidance, ensuring best practices in code quality, system design, and scalability.
- Oversee technical integrations with partners, customers, and ecosystem teams, collaborating closely with Partner Engineers and TPMs.
- Be responsible for SLI/SLOs, incident response, and postmortems; drive alignment on reliability standards and risk tolerance across the company.
- Build and maintain delivery dashboards, timelines, and communication cadences for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure engineering, product, and partner teams stay aligned through clear processes and structured follow-ups.
- Introduce pragmatic delivery tools, reporting, and frameworks to help engineering scale efficiently. Foster a dynamic, accountable performance culture.
- Provide regular delivery and technical updates to leadership and partners; highlight risks early and propose actionable solutions.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in engineering management, technical delivery, or program management.
- Experience leading software teams and managing technical integrations across products, platforms, or APIs.
- Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles and systems architecture (message-based, event-driven systems).
- Solid understanding of blockchain or distributed systems, ideally with Ethereum experience.
- Hands-on technical background; able to review code or guide design discussions in TypeScript, Rust, Go, or Solidity.
- Excellent organizational and execution skills — able to balance delivery, people, and process.
- Strong communication — can translate between technical depth and business context.
- Calm, structured, and solution-oriented under pressure.
- Contributions to open-source software.
