About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist in the design and development of products, machinery or tooling
  • Conceptualize, design and develop new products, parts, machinery or tooling
  • Perform work under minimal supervision regarding creation of complex drawings
  • Oversee and prepare bill-of-materials on new and changed designs
  • Significant involvement in the prototyping and testing of new designs
  • Provide support to sales and marketing staff by creating submittal drawings
  • Assist in the cost analysis process and submitting design proposals

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience required
  • 2 Year / Associate Degree or equivalent years of job experience required
  • Knowledge of CAD systems (AutoCAD and Inventor Preferred)
