About the role

  • The Project Manager will focus on and oversee activities related to the development of new products in support of the Strategic Initiatives, New Product Development and Business Technology Roadmap
  • Develops project plans, utilizing project mgmt best practices to deliver project goals within schedule, budget & scope
  • Establishes cross-functional team & maintains effective relationships with team members, customers & gains their trust & respect
  • Develops project management plan with scope, objectives, Project GANTT chart, financial excel plan, risk management plan
  • Tracks actual progress to plan. Keeps plan up to date as project progresses. Keeps team updated
  • Drives an environment of continuous improvement among project team members; Solicits input, compiles and communicates project lessons learned
  • Visits customers and attends industry forums to gain clarity and market intelligences to support expeditious launch of new products

Requirements

  • B.S or equivalent in Engineering or Marketing disciplines
  • Project Mgmt certification preferred
  • Understanding and use of Six Sigma tools and methodology desired
  • Min 5-7 yrs experience preferably in progressively challenging engineering, project mgmt and/or leadership roles
  • Proficient in use of personal computer and required software: MS Office (Word, PPT, Excel, Project)
