About the role
- The Project Manager will focus on and oversee activities related to the development of new products in support of the Strategic Initiatives, New Product Development and Business Technology Roadmap
- Develops project plans, utilizing project mgmt best practices to deliver project goals within schedule, budget & scope
- Establishes cross-functional team & maintains effective relationships with team members, customers & gains their trust & respect
- Develops project management plan with scope, objectives, Project GANTT chart, financial excel plan, risk management plan
- Tracks actual progress to plan. Keeps plan up to date as project progresses. Keeps team updated
- Drives an environment of continuous improvement among project team members; Solicits input, compiles and communicates project lessons learned
- Visits customers and attends industry forums to gain clarity and market intelligences to support expeditious launch of new products
Requirements
- B.S or equivalent in Engineering or Marketing disciplines
- Project Mgmt certification preferred
- Understanding and use of Six Sigma tools and methodology desired
- Min 5-7 yrs experience preferably in progressively challenging engineering, project mgmt and/or leadership roles
- Proficient in use of personal computer and required software: MS Office (Word, PPT, Excel, Project)
