About the role
- Technical responsibility for selected strategic clients (enterprise/public sector)
- Advise and support customers in establishing, operating and advancing their vulnerability management
- Conduct technical deep dives, workshops and health checks to continuously improve the deployment of Greenbone solutions
- Close coordination with the Product Department to further develop our vulnerability management solutions based on customer feedback
- Analyze complex infrastructures and provide support with architecture decisions and scaling strategies
- Support the sales process with technical expertise and well-founded feasibility analyses
- Build a resilient trust relationship as a technical sparring partner for CISOs, SOC leads and IT security managers
- Represent the company at international conferences, including as a speaker on technical topics
Requirements
- Several years of demonstrable experience in technical IT security consulting, ideally with a focus on vulnerability management
- Deep knowledge of current security technologies and common IT architectures (network, infrastructure, cloud)
- Experience with security-related processes in large organizations or government agencies
- Ability to explain technical matters clearly and persuasively at multiple levels — from administrators to executive leadership
- Knowledge of automation, API usage and integration of security solutions into complex environments (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Fluent German and very good English, both spoken and written (both languages are must-haves)
- Willingness to travel domestically (approx. 20–30%) and internationally when required
