About the role

  • In this key role you will act as the technical sparring partner for our sales teams in Germany and internationally.
  • You will support exciting customers throughout the entire sales cycle — from the initial presentation to successful implementation.
  • Provide technical consulting for presales activities in national and international projects
  • Work closely with our direct sales teams and channel partners worldwide
  • Deliver customer presentations on-site or via webcast — also in English
  • Support tender processes, proposal preparation and technical concept development
  • Manage proofs of concept (PoCs) and test deployments
  • Plan and execute installations across diverse IT landscapes
  • Provide technical support for large customer projects at home and abroad
  • Integrate our solutions into existing IT security environments
  • Continuously improve our global presales processes

Requirements

  • Solid experience as a Presales Consultant in the field of cybersecurity
  • Good knowledge of network technologies, virtualization and vulnerability management
  • Knowledge of Greenbone is a plus — but not mandatory
  • Requirement: completed security clearance according to SÜG2 or willingness to undergo such a clearance
  • Very good German and English skills (technically proficient)
  • Strong communication skills, persuasiveness and customer orientation
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 30%) domestically and internationally and enjoyment of on-site assignments with customers or at events
  • Experience in international project environments is desirable
  • Independent, structured working style and strong team spirit
