About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide strategic and tactical leadership in collaboration with the IT Leadership team and Business Partners to deliver integrated technology solutions
- Oversee a team managing functional requirements, development, enhancement, and maintenance for Wholesale S&OP, Cultivation, Manufacturing, and Fulfillment CPG operations
- Supervise applications systems analysis, development, coordination, implementation, and documentation
- Oversee internal and external technical professionals responsible for new applications and existing IT systems
- Establish department goals, objectives, and operating procedures to improve system stability and project delivery
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations for applications, including SaaS solutions, and manage incident remediation and long-term plans
- Develop and maintain systems and team performance metrics
- Oversee delivery of complex IT projects within timelines and budget constraints
- Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to identify capability and technology gaps and formulate technology roadmaps
- Evaluate and manage external vendors and technology partners and align product roadmaps with business objectives
- Facilitate IT governance with senior management and participate in planning for future business needs
- Formulate and oversee application development, maintenance, and support budgets
- Consolidate and leverage existing applications to streamline business processes and reduce overhead
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of technical program/project management experience in a fast-paced technology company and/or consulting
- 6+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications that directly enable Wholesale S&OP, Cultivation, Manufacturing, Fulfillment, or other supply chain operations
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management, or a related field, preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead internal and external technical staff and prioritize multiple concurrent projects
- High level of business acumen and ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and explain complex technical decisions to non-technical partners
- Exceptional organization and planning skills and process-driven thinking
- Self-starter, creative, enthusiastic, innovative, and collaborative outlook
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- High professionalism and integrity, including handling confidential information
- Experience partnering with senior business stakeholders to identify capability gaps and develop technology roadmaps
- Experience managing project and department budgets
- Experience partnering with third-party vendors on system performance and future roadmap capability needs
- Preferred: understanding of CPG Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), cultivation, manufacturing, fulfillment, supply chain, and finance business processes
- Preferred: experience in Agile development, Agile techniques, and delivery practices
- Must pass all required background checks
- Must remain compliant with all legal and company regulations for working in the industry
- Must understand and comply with Green Thumb rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Must understand cannabis laws, rules, and regulations and have passion for furthering industry and legal knowledge
Benefits
Comp & perks- Competitive pay range of $160,000–$190,000 USD
- Positions may be eligible for a discretionary annual incentive program driven by organization and individual performance
