About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and further develop the company’s operational processes
  • Clarify priorities, responsibilities, capacities and handovers
  • Structure larger B2B projects, custom-made orders and international rollouts
  • Monitor timings, quality, costing, margins and payment terms
  • Establish reusable project standards and evaluate completed projects
  • Further develop collaboration with production, supply and technology partners
  • Coordinate legal and organizational frameworks for complex projects
  • Optimize processes across CRM, ERP/inventory management, e‑commerce, accounting and project management
  • Define data structures, statuses and responsibilities
  • Pragmatically document core processes
  • Identify and implement automations with IT, freelancers, AI, n8n, Make or comparable tools
  • Introduce new systems and ensure their consistent use across the team
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, liquidity, margins and operational KPIs
  • Develop dashboards and reports on revenue, contribution margin, costs, receivables and project status
  • Assess the profitability of larger projects, investments and new services
  • Derive actions from variances and KPIs
  • Contribute to resource planning and growth decisions
  • Implement the growth and scaling strategy together with shareholders and the team
  • Build lean governance structures with KPIs and review routines
  • Enhance onboarding, knowledge management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Support employees in taking on autonomous responsibility
  • Contribute to the further development of the Munich-area location
  • After structured onboarding, assume an official managing director role early on

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of experience with budget, P&L and decision-making responsibility, ideally in a startup, SME, retail, manufacturing, e‑commerce or project-based company
  • Experience in operations, complex customer projects, process development, order fulfillment or supply chain
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and a strong hands-on attitude
  • Independently create solutions, analyses, templates and processes
  • Prioritize diverse topics and drive them to structured completion
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and coordinating employees
  • Confident handling of budgets, KPIs, forecasts, spreadsheets and digital systems
  • Interest in automation, AI and continuous process improvement
  • Quickly structure complex situations and prepare decisions even with incomplete information
  • Very good German and good English skills
  • Passion for sustainability and long-term company building
  • Generalist entrepreneurial mentality, willingness to learn and to take responsibility beyond traditional departmental boundaries
  • Willingness to invest would be an advantage
