About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Facilitate all GGC Construction Team tasks in support of Program Managers.
Work in the field approximately 45% of the work year, renovating, scouting, and coaching GGC shelter partners.
Design, budget, and plan jobs when not in the field.
Work on all permitting, ordering, project logistics, travel logistics, and scheduling.
Participate in construction duties, supervise volunteers, and assist with planning and estimating for projects.
Help with project design, logistics, consulting duties, and communication with partners and vendors.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Construction knowledge or be willing to learn construction techniques.
Excellent computer skills and willingness to learn CAD design and computer rendering.
Must be self-motivated, accountable, and resourceful.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Dedication to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
