About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own math portfolio products end to end, including vision, roadmap, scope, and release plans
  • Support product vision development through research, market mapping, competitive analysis, opportunity sizing, and strategic development
  • Execute end-to-end product lifecycle activities, including market research, product strategy and design, pricing analysis, and launch
  • Collaborate with Content on state adoptions, sampling, open-territory, and large-district opportunities
  • Conduct user interviews, classroom pilots, and user testing
  • Synthesize customer feedback, product analytics, and competitive data into prioritization recommendations
  • Partner with content and research teams to incorporate instructional research and the math instructional model into product design
  • Lead discovery, human-centered design, and evidence-based decision-making
  • Drive cross-functional alignment and unblock progress across Content, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Design, and Operations
  • Align instructional philosophy, content development, and the digital platform in feature and customer-experience delivery
  • Identify and resolve strategic issues across team boundaries
  • Drive project budgeting, monitor budget impact, propose tradeoffs, and advocate for funding
  • Own post-launch adoption, usage, retention, and renewal metrics to inform enhancements and roadmap recommendations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least 5 years of experience in education publishing or K-12 edtech
  • Track record of success in product management, digital product development, and/or curriculum development
  • Experience with K-12 math products strongly preferred
  • Ability to drive alignment and progress across teams without direct authority
  • Experience gathering and synthesizing user research, product analytics, and market data
  • Alignment with Great Minds’ knowledge-building instructional philosophy and pedagogy
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and judgment
  • Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Strong business acumen and ability to evaluate ROI and value
  • Fluency in Agile and human-centered design
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience
  • Cover letter and resume required
  • Successful completion of a background check required for new employees
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States required
  • Must answer whether employment visa sponsorship will be required
