• The Executive Director collaborates with department directors to establish performance and operational objectives, offering continuous support to foster their professional growth and sustain a high-performing leadership team within the community.

Executive Director

Community Manager

• Participate in and manage the project’s marketing functions including, but not limited to, the leasing and the lease renewal processes for the property.
• Establish and manage the grounds keeping, housekeeping and maintenance processes and standards for the property.
• Inspect the exterior and interior of the building(s) on a regular basis including, but not limited to, the grounds, common areas, staff and resident storage areas, vacant apartments, parking garages and/or ramps and recreational and fitness rooms.
• Develop and implement a corrective action plan to address any noted shortcomings.
• Manage the property’s purchasing process including the negotiation of favorable pricing, the ordering of supplies and the verification and approval of invoices while maintaining a working knowledge of site inventories.
• Manage the collection and processing of rent payments.
• Manage the process of reviewing and updating accounting reports generated by GLMC’s staff accountant.
• Draft and cooperate with GLMC personnel in the preparation of the annual operations and capital improvement budgets and monitor property performance versus the budgets throughout the year.
• Make adjustments as required to ensure the project achieves its budgeted goals.
• Assisting in the hiring of staff, training, and management.

• As a key member of the Assisted Living leadership team, the Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge of rules and regulations, keeping informed of industry standards, and applying knowledge to meet the changing needs of the community.
• Ensure residents’ individual needs and preferences are consistently met with compassion and dignity, fostering a nurturing and empowering environment in the community.
• Supports the team in achieving high quality and efficient delivery of care with appropriate clinical supervision through standard role definitions, staffing models, clinical processes, and metric monitoring.
• Adherence to clinical best practice models and processes to deliver consistent high quality, efficient and compliant resident centered care.
• Implementation and standardization in the areas of policies and procedures, personnel management, quality improvement, compliance, clinical documentation.
• Collaborates with the Executive Director to provide ongoing performance management and development, focusing on high engagement and collaboration while promoting high levels of satisfaction and retention with staff.
• Investigating and reporting incidents of suspected resident neglect and/or abuse and reporting these findings to appropriate county officials, in coordination with the Executive Director.
• Leads by example, ensure outstanding attention to detail in resident care and wellbeing, demonstrate effective communication.
• Collaborates with Executive Director and Regional Team in determining staffing needs based on resident care levels to maintain quality care and safety.

Director of Nursing

• Plan, promote, budget, and lead life enrichment programs, activities, and special events
• Develop and maintain a monthly life enrichment calendar that reflects a well-rounded, engaging program for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents
• Build strong, positive relationships with residents, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners
• Ensure activities are appropriately supervised by staff or volunteers
• Lead activities as needed to ensure consistency, quality, and resident engagement
• Evaluate programming to meet current and future resident needs
• Serve as Editor-in-Chief of the monthly community newsletter, coordinating contributions from residents and staff
• Work with entertainers, vendors, and community partners to enhance programming
• Supervise the volunteers through mentoring, training, and performance evaluations
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to support activity programming in Memory Care
• Creatively coordinate movies, educational programming, and special events
• Coordinate and accompany residents on outings and field trips as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Life Enrichment Director

• Provide overall leadership and direction for the community, partnering closely with department directors to establish and achieve operational and performance goals
• Coach, develop, and support department leaders to maintain a strong, high-performing leadership team

Sales

• Manage the full sales process from initial inquiry to signed lease
• Serve as the face of the community during tours, events, and informational sessions
• Plan, coordinate, and host targeted marketing events and presentations
• Respond to phone and digital inquiries with timely, personalized follow-up
• Schedule and conduct prospect meetings and tours
• Provide consultative support to prospects and their families
• Build and maintain strong relationships with potential residents
• Manage pre-move-in documentation, deposits, and communication
• Monitor local competition and report findings during weekly meetings
• Support marketing and media strategy development
• Document all sales and referral activity in the approved CRM
