About the role
- Build and oversee enterprise-wide vendor management program – approvals, onboarding, monitoring, optimization and offboarding
- Partner with Legal, Third Party Risk Management, Finance and the business leads to create processes that are efficient & utilize best practices, ensure proper controls and adhere to compliance standards
- Drive best practices across the vendor population – performance metrics, payment terms, standard terms and conditions, onboarding and offboarding
- Identify opportunities to partner with the business – cost reduction, spend consolidation, renewal strategy
- Identify efficiency opportunities through automation, data science or new tools
- Lead requirements gathering, vendor selection and implementation for any new third party applications to support the program
- Support M&A vendor diligence and integration to the Great Gray enterprise vendor footprint
- Partner with business leaders when vendor RFIs/RFPs are required to select a vendor
- Plan and coordinate facilities maintenance, office moves, space planning, and equipment installations for 4 US-based office locations (200 employees total)
- Track lease provisions, renewals, and termination timelines in partnership with Finance
- Oversee procurement of office equipment, supplies, and provisions
- Prepare and manage budgets for facilities and office-related expenses
- Complete other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Proven vendor management experience in a small or high-growth organization
- Demonstrated ability to conserve resources while operating effectively and achieving results
- Experience implementing and managing vendor management software or applications
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage vendors for cost savings and service improvements
- Familiarity with facilities management, including maintenance coordination and vendor oversight
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyze vendor performance data and produce actionable insights
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
