About the role
- Act as the technical lead on projects, applying advanced engineering concepts to develop process systems for food and beverage applications.
- Execute the full scope of project work, including design, budgeting, implementation, procurement, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of processing systems.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met.
- Engage in continuous improvement efforts to enhance engineering quality and project deliverables. Lead knowledge-sharing groups and best practice initiatives.
- Take a lead role in on-site support and commissioning activities, including planning and facilitating complex commissioning processes.
- Contribute to business development by providing technical input during sales calls, customer meetings, and proposal development.
- Develop detailed technical documentation, including equipment lists, flow diagrams, process narratives, and project reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis on process systems.
- Significant experience in detailed process design for food and beverage processing lines, with a proven ability to lead projects.
- Strong experience with MS Outlook, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams and customers.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is expected.
- Travel required for site audits, installations, and customer meetings, varying based on project needs.
- Regular use of hands, standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
