About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and develop all cost estimates and materials required for customer requests for proposal (RFPs)
  • Manage cross-functional teams to review customer requirements and contract terms within RFPs
  • Ensure appropriate workflows are completed and reflected in external communications
  • Create and communicate deliverables matrices, including roles and responsibilities, proposal team resource assignments, and schedules
  • Prepare cost-estimating spreadsheets, proposal content structures, and supporting documents according to internal standards
  • Save proposal materials to appropriate storage locations for collaboration
  • Develop final cost and resource needs with Technical Business Unit representatives
  • Support pre-project planning using project management fundamentals, project roles, and resource skillsets
  • Monitor and identify individual or proposal team performance issues and escalate them appropriately
  • Demonstrate leadership practices and core values
  • Promote accountability and celebrate corresponding behaviors while demonstrating ethical ambition
  • Support safety, quality, continuous improvement, training, and other best practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5 or more years of relevant experience in a STEM field, manufacturing, professional services, or related industries
  • 3 or more years of experience in standard project management practices, including project scope, budget, goals, technical and functional requirements
  • Demonstrated understanding of the industrial manufacturing space and Gray AES solutions
  • Knowledge of proposals, project budgeting, sales-to-execution hand-off, and lifecycle management
  • Ability to multitask across multiple efforts and fluctuating priorities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and products
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Customer interaction at a functional and technical level
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
