Site Superintendent – In Plant, Special Projects

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Daily coordination and direction of the project
- Conceptualize a construction plan that meets the client’s goals
- Ensure daily and weekly activities are consistent with the construction plan
- Maintain open and positive communications with contractors and subcontractors
- Monitor quality levels and ensure adherence to safety processes
- Coordinate safety inspections with the Safety Director
- Supervise and coordinate activities within the project site
Requirements
What you’ll need- A minimum of ten years’ experience in the construction industry
- Minimum of five years of experience in construction
- Communicates well both verbally and in writing
- Ability to identify, assimilate and comprehend critical elements of a situation
- Effectiveness in planning and controlling work and motivating subordinates
- Ability to monitor construction schedules
- Ability to read construction set drawings, process design documents, P&ID, isometrics, and equipment sheets
- Strong teamwork background
- Highly motivated with a demonstrated passion for excellence
