Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or a minimum of ten years’ experience in the construction industry
  • Minimum of five years of experience in commercial structural steel or miscellaneous metals
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and other technical documents
  • Proficiency in using software programs related to structural steel design and estimation
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
