Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management or a minimum of ten years’ experience in the construction industry
Minimum of five years of experience in commercial structural steel or miscellaneous metals
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and other technical documents
Proficiency in using software programs related to structural steel design and estimation
Excellent communication and problem solving skills
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
