About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Enforce safety equipment/clothing as required by OSHA and company safety regulations
Ensure compliance with safety requirements of the company
Maintain appropriate safety records
Ensure work areas are maintained in a neat, safe and orderly fashion
Investigate incidents and complete necessary reports
Assist Site Manager in administrative counseling to team members and subcontractors for non-compliance with safety requirements
Conduct safety meetings/jobsite reviews as part of coordination meetings
Conduct daily safety meetings
Conduct orientation and jobsite specific training
Communicate, implement, and enforce Gray’s safety program on site
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR 5+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree
OSHA 30 Hour card
Experience in an industrial construction environment is highly preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques
Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite programs
Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
Energetic, self-motivated individual who has a passion for collaboration and professional development.
