About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Takes ownership of all aspects of the field activities from start up to completion on their projects
  • Ensure Site Safety requirements are being met all times
  • Provide real-time data to PM/Scheduler for schedule maintenance
  • Conduct site and weekly meetings to coordinate subcontractor activities on site
  • Collaboration with PM team to ensure timely buyout of subcontracts
  • Conduct monthly project reports to track overall progression of the project
  • Lead, teach, coach and train subordinates
  • Walk the project daily to witness work going into place safely and meeting quality standards
  • Review all drawings when issued to the field and maintain a current set at all times
  • Assist in developing scopes of work for approval of Project Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have a minimum of 10+ years related construction experience
  • Preferred experience in large construction projects across various industries
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, financial reports, and legal/contract documents
  • Strong people management skills
  • Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and email applications
  • Skills in utilizing bluebeam, Microsoft excel, and sharepoint
  • Must be able to work mandatory night shifts including evenings, overnight hours, weekends, and holidays as needed
