About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure project safety compliance
- Understand job cost spread and project estimates
- Participate in project sequencing and scheduling
- Track project progress and analyze production
- Engage in project cost reporting
- Handle invoice coding and approval
- Oversee material/equipment procurement
- Manage change order requests and tracking
- Coordinate with general contractors/owners
- Assist with reporting requirements, including field time and productivity, materials, safety, and other relevant aspects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in construction science, construction management, engineering, or related field from an accredited college or university
- 1 year of experience in construction, or 5 years of construction related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, MS Project, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
- Knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, CMIC is a preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time and be based on a project site
- Effective planning and resource management skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to excellence and continuous improvement
- Ability to monitor construction schedules and identify potential issues
- Proactive in promoting and ensuring workplace safety.
