About the role

  • Prepares architectural plans as directed by design managers and assists design managers in construction administration activities
  • Assists with layout of project and integrates engineering elements into unified design for customer review and approval
  • Prepares scale drawings and contract documents for customers, construction personnel, sub-consultants, and design-build subcontractors
  • May assist design managers in administration, review, and coordination of project submittals
  • Conducts on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with plans
  • Prepares studies and reports
  • Prepares project designs and plans using computer assisted design software and equipment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a degree from a technical college and 2 to 5 years of experience; or the equivalent combination both
  • Experience designing in Revit is highly preferred
  • Experience producing architectural drawings is required
  • Basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheets, design software and e-mail
  • Physically present in a Gray office
  • Energetic, self-motivated individual who enjoys a team environment, as well as a passion for collaboration and professional development
