About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Takes ownership of all aspects of field activities from start up to completion on projects
- Maintain and track overall project schedule as well as creating and maintaining a task specific two-three week lookahead
- Ensure Site Safety requirements are being met
- Conduct site and weekly meetings to coordinate subcontractor activities
- Review all drawings when they are issued to the field
- Demonstrate leadership abilities to manage and direct on-site project teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have a minimum of 10+ years related construction experience
- Preferred experience with large construction projects in Manufacturing, Food and Beverage, Automotive, Distribution and Mission Critical markets
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, financial reports, and legal/contract documents
- Strong people management skills
- Basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail applications.
- Skills in utilizing bluebeam, Microsoft excel, and sharepoint.
