About the role
- Manage overall project administration and financial performance for complex construction projects
- Facilitate customer and team meetings, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed
- Monitor project progress and financial performance, identifying early issues
- Collaborate with project teams to develop corrective measures
- Implement risk management plans and ensure project safety
- Develop relationship management plans and communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Ensure that project staff supports the company's vision and values
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
- Minimum of ten years related experience and/or training
- Minimum of five consecutive years total profit and loss accountability on multiple projects
- Minimum of three years’ experience managing design/build or hard bid projects
- Experience with contracting methods such as lump sum, GMP, cost plus, and fee-based construction
- Knowledge of contractual language and legal implications
- Proven record in increasing project profitability
- Knowledgeable of engineering and design disciplines
- Ability to develop aggressive project schedules
- Ability to mentor and train project staff
