About the role

  • Enforce the use of safety equipment/clothing as required by OSHA and company safety regulations.
  • Reinforce compliance with the safety requirements of the company.
  • Maintain appropriate safety records.
  • Ensure work areas are neat, safe, and orderly.
  • Investigate incidents and complete reports as required.
  • Assist Site Manager with administrative counseling to team members and subcontractors.
  • Hold safety meetings/jobsite reviews in coordination meetings.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and orientation/jobsite specific training.
  • Communicate, implement, and enforce Gray’s safety program on site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field OR 5+ years of related experience in lieu of a degree
  • OSHA 30 Hour card
  • Experience in an industrial construction environment is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques
  • Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite programs
  • Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
  • Energetic, self-motivated individual who has a passion for collaboration and professional development.
